The winners have been announced for this year's Platinum Wedding-themed Diva awards design competition, it has been reported.

Sponsored by Platinum Guild International, the 12th event of its kind saw designers compete in five categories which included platinum baubles, according to idexonline.com.  

The news provider reported that the Women's Jewelry Association (WJA) announced the winners, who included Lisa Krikawa for her platinum and diamond Delicate Leaf Wedding in the Everyday Bridal Ring Trio Suite category.

In the Colorful Engagements and Weddings in Platinum category, Joana Mirandatook home the top award for her Pink Diamond Trellis platinum pendant.

The Platinum Jewels for the Bridal Party category (over $5,000) was won by Erica Courtney with her Tulip necklace made of platinum and diamonds.

In the same category for under $5,000, Carley McGee won with her platinum, diamond and rock crystal pendant.

Meanwhile, G3 Jewelry has announced the opening of its online shopping boutique where shoppers can buy fully customizable jewelry from the company's diamond Glamour range for women.
