PGI at IJO Colorado Springs!

Platinum Guild International is pleased to announce that we will be exhibiting at the next IJO Conference at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs - February 17 - 20, 2008.  The Broadmoor is a great destination at the foot of the beautiful Cheyenne Mountains.  This exquisite resort is a prime location for a conference that promises to be educational, productive and fun!

PGI will have a presence right on the buying floor of the Conference.  Now more than ever, Platinum bridal jewelry offers retailers a great profit opportunity.  We will share our aggregate consumer research data, which continues to confirm that Platinum is the first choice of metal for the bride-to-be (81% of women about to become engaged prefer Platinum for their engagement ring and wedding band), and motivates retailers to "Take Back the Wedding" from all of the other expenses competing for that couple's wedding budget.  We'll also talk to retailers about re-thinking their bridal jewelry business - it's not just about buying the engagement ring - the new definition of the bridal business is 2 people = 3 Platinum rings!  It's a formula for increased profitability.

In addition, we will introduce the new Platinum Jeweler Program - a PGI program designed to help jewelers that stock and sell Platinum bridal jewelry.  Any IJO member that carries at least two lines of ISO standard Platinum bridal jewelry of at least 850 ppt platinum is eligible to participate in this program, which will provide the following:

Comprehensive on-line training - For all sales associates, insuring that they are best positioned to deliver the "Platinum Experience" to every customer that walks into their store.

Mystery Shopping - We'll send mystery shoppers to participating stores to evaluate how sales associates are delivering that "Platinum Experience" and we'll share that important feedback with you.

Consumer Referrals - We will list your store location(s) on our "find-a-retailer" page of our consumer websites - preciousplatinum.com and engagementguide.com.  These sites generate 40,000+ unique visitors each month and we'd like to start directing them to your stores!

Information about the Platinum Jeweler Program and all of PGI's sales training, technical training, and marketing support services will be available at the PGI table on the Conference buying floor.

If you won't be attending the IJO conference, we'd still love to hear from you.  Please call Thomas Kimura at 714-442-3109 for more information, or visit our website at www.platinumguild.com.
