On the Air with Billy and Babs!
Tune-in to WPGI 950Pt Radio
- playing all platinum hits, all the time! Billy and Babs help explain the incremental profit opportunities that can be seized by manufacturing, stocking and selling platinum jewelry.

The Platinum "All-Star Team" Party was attended by 150 sales professional from platinum jewelry manufacturing companies. The night was dedicated to celebrating the achievements of the individuals who directly impact platinum jewelry sales in the US market.

During the event, two new programs were launched, the "Show me the Platinum" contest and the WPGI 950pt radio show.

Details of the "Show me the Platinum" Contest were announced. It is designed to award sales representatives for spotting platinum signs in bridal merchandise showcases of their retail customers (or placing signs in the showcases of retailers who are not currently identifying their platinum merchandise).

PGI has debuted a "radio program" created exclusively for platinum bridal jewelry sales professionals - WPGI 950pt Radio - Playing all Platinum Hits all the Time!  This radio show featured WPGI radio personalities Billy & Babs whose playful banter helped deliver important business messages about the incremental profit opportunities that can be seized by manufacturing, stocking and selling platinum. The radio show featured six "spots" with Billy & Babs, followed by classic rock and top 40 hit music.

In between each radio spot, a drawing was held to award lucky sales professionals with platinum American Express Gift Checks, digital cameras (to help them enter the "Show me the Platinum" contest) and iPods.

Everyone was having such a good time that the All-Star team party went into "overtime".  As each guest left, they received a goody bag containing platinum sales tip cards, platinum mints, a bottle of water with a Platinum profitability message, a bottle of "Sparkle, Sparkle Platinum Cleaner", the Men's Engagement Guide (helping men about to propose navigate the world of platinum engagement and wedding rings), a "one-sheet" describing the details of the "Show me the Platinum" contest, and a CD containing the "Gone Platinum" radio show - "On the Air with Billy & Babs"
