- Bench jewelers who seek to improve the quality of their Platinum jewelry craftsmanship while saving money and time will benefit from the Platinum Technical Road Show. The seminars are intended for bench jewelers of all skill levels to learn new and improved Platinum bench techniques.
Hosted by Platinum guru Jurgen Maerz, Director of Technical Education for Platinum Guild International USA (PGI-USA) this all-day seminar for bench jewelers provides hands-on training in areas such as advanced Platinum stone setting as well as fabrication using the latest bench technology.
The advanced stone setting segment will train bench jewelers to expertly execute Platinum pavé setting as well as the setting of fancy cut stones. Bench tips and unique tricks will be demonstrated using everyday household items such as baking soda or CD's.
