Platinum Guild International Hosts Annual Red Carpet Jewelry Suite For Emmy Awards in Hollywood

New York (August 2005) - The 57th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards are right around the corner, and celebrities and their stylists begin to make their important wardrobe selections, searching for the perfect fashions and jewelry to be displayed on the Red Carpet.  To coincide with the Emmy excitement, Platinum Guild International USA (PGI-USA) is hosting its annual exclusive Red Carpet Platinum Jewelry stylist suite on the 14th and 15th of September, where the celebrity stylists may choose from a plethora of Platinum baubles for their star clients.  Over ten million dollars in gorgeous Platinum jewelry designs will be showcased from 40 top design houses, including Neil Lane, Daniel K., Jacob & Co, Kwiat, Chris Aire, Alan Friedman, Marc Lazar, Sol Rafael, Erica Courtney, and many more.

The PGI Red Carpet Jewelry Suite showcases a wide variety of jewelry design styles all in one location, saving the stylists a significant amount of time and energy.  PGI's Suite also benefits the designers and manufactures that are featuring their designs by providing a large amount of brand exposure to style setters, celebrities and the media.  Marc Lazar, who featured designs at last year's Emmy Suite and received significant publicity from actress Melina Kanakaredes of CSI: New York wearing his Platinum and diamond drop earrings, says "PGI's Suite continues to gain recognition in Hollywood and has become a necessity for A-list celebrities and stylists.  I am thrilled to be a part of it".

Stylists are constantly facing the changing trends of fashion, but one thing that always remains in style, is the look of Platinum jewelry.  Platinum has a timeless quality, since its naturally white hue perfectly compliments any gemstone and enhances the look of every dress that graces the red carpet.   Stylists and celebrities attending this year's Emmy's Suite, will see Platinum adorned with bold colored gemstones, like the stunning Platinum and 142 carat blue sapphire and diamond necklace by Hammerman Bros.  Decadent Platinum and diamond designs from Sol Rafael valued at over $3 million, and Sasha Primak's Platinum and 80-carat yellow and white diamond necklace and bracelet, are sure to be the talk of the town.

Other designs that may be worn by Emmy Nominee's this year will demonstrate the trend for Platinum and green colored gemstones, as seen in the intricate Platinum and 10 carat radiant-cut diamond and peridot drop earrings from Kwiat, and intricate Platinum and 12 carat green beryl earrings from Peter Norman.  And in keeping with the trend for men's Platinum jewelry, PGI's jewelry suite will be featuring men's Platinum watches from Jacob and Co. and Jaeger-LeCoultre, and Platinum and diamond cufflinks from Herco and Cede, to name a few.

PGI's exclusive Platinum Red Carpet Jewelry Suites have been responsible for lending over 15 million dollars worth of Platinum bling to some of the most glamorous stars including Jennifer Aniston, Debra Messing, Mischa Barton, Marcia Cross, Nicolette Sheridan and Jennifer Garner, from top designers such as Neil Lane, Chris Aire, Erica Courtney, Cathy Waterman, Sheila Goldfinger and Martin Katz.

Celebrities and stylists who attend PGI's Red Carpet Jewelry Suite will also indulge in one-of-a-kind Platinum manicures with the $250 Platinum nail polish designed in collaboration with Essie Cosmetics.  Hollywood's biggest television stars who receive the spa treatment will sign their bottle of polish to be auctioned off as part of the Clothes Off Our Back 4th Annual Emmy Awards Auction to support children's charities.  Celebrities will also receive Platinum jewelry given to them by featured designers, and a gift bag full of wonderful treats.

Platinum is prized for its Pure, Rare and Eternal qualities:

PURE: Platinum's high level of purity (generally 90%-95% pure) endows it with both a natural white luster, allowing the true radiance of a diamond or gemstone to shine; and hypoallergenic qualities that prove ideal for sensitive skin.

RARE: Platinum is 30 times more rare than gold.

ETERNAL:
Platinum will hold a diamond or gemstone securely, now and for always.
