Fall Proves Popular for Platinum Jewelry

(October 2004) -
The weather may be getting cooler, but Platinum jewelry is staying white hot for this fall season.   October celebrity fashion styles continue to show that Platinum jewelry's versatility fits perfectly with any occasion. Platinum Guild International partnered with top jewelry houses to add sparkle to some of Hollywood's brightest stars. Celebrities who shined in precious Platinum this month include: Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, Judy Reyes, Katey Sagal, Mary J. Blige, Marlee Matlin and Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Hollywood's Latin starlets chose Platinum jewelry for their sexy ensembles.  Singing sensation Christina Aguilera arrived at the New York movie premier of " Shark Tale" in a beautiful pair of Platinum and diamond drop earrings, a sultry Platinum and diamond Edwardian choker on a black velvet band accented with a Platinum, diamond and pearl heart pendant and a Platinum, diamond and pearl watch, all by Stephen Russell.  Jennifer Lopez and Judy Reyes both chose pure Platinum jewelry for the "Noche de Niños" gala on October 2nd.  Lopez looked muy caliente in a Platinum, diamond and fire opal necklace and matching Platinum ring, Platinum and diamond earrings and two Platinum and diamond bracelets all by Neil Lane. Actress Judy Reyes (Scrubs) chose a Platinum and pink diamond necklace and Platinum and fancy blue diamond ring by Alan Friedman.

TV star and newlywed Katey Sagal (Eight Simple Rules) looked elegant for her October nuptials draped in a long Platinum and diamond chain accented with a Platinum and diamond pendant, Platinum and diamond bracelet and Platinum and diamond earrings all by Neil Lane.

R & B star Mary J. Blige and Marlee Matlin both attended the "Genius: A Night for Ray Charles" show dressed in Platinum jewelry by Alan Friedman. Blige, often seen in plenty of Platinum "bling", chose a Platinum bracelet with pink and white diamonds by Alan Friedman for her performance.  Marlee Matlin chose Platinum and colored diamond earrings.

Actress Sarah Michelle Gellar chose a dainty yet elegant pair of Platinum and diamond cluster earrings from Neil Lane for the Los Angeles Red Carpet premiere of her latest movie "The Grudge" on October 12th.

Platinum is prized for its Pure, Rare and Eternal qualities:

PURE:  Platinum's purity endows it with a natural white luster, which allows the true radiance of a diamond or gemstone to shine.

RARE:  Platinum is 30 times rarer than gold.

ETERNAL:  Platinum will hold a diamond or gemstone securely, now and for always.
