"Ice Man") from 2 Awesome International in Los Angeles custom designed the platinum and diamond hoop earrings that were included in the highly coveted presenter's gift bags. Aire also provided Grammy nominee Blu Cantrell ("Hit 'Em Up Style") with a platinum and diamond heart pendant, a custom platinum bracelet and platinum and diamond pear-shaped earrings. Musician Carl Thomas ("Emotional") could not resist Aire's platinum and diamond cross necklace and platinum and diamond bracelet. New York platinum jeweler Jacob Arobo (a.k.a. "Jacob the Jeweler") also provided famous hip hop and R & B stars with their "Bling Bling" for the evening. Jacob provided P. Diddy with a wardrobe of platinum jewelry including a platinum and diamond chain, cross, ring and bracelet. Rap "Star" Eve, adorned herself with Jacob's platinum and diamond star necklace, earrings and bangle bracelet. Platinum jewelry was also the choice for performer Mary J. Blige, as well as Missy Elliot and Ja Rule who shined in Jacob's designs. Fellow platinum jewelry designer Neil Lane of Los Angeles layered platinum necklaces on performer Christina Aguilera. Aguilera wore a platinum and diamond choker attached to a black satin ribbon, a long, chunky platinum and diamond chain and a platinum, diamond and onyx cross pendant. Her vintage platinum, diamond and onyx drop, pear-shaped earrings and bracelet were visible from the highest seats in the house! Lane also provided singer and "Lady Marmalade" performer Mya with sexy, dangling diamond and platinum earrings for the festivities.
