Lovebirds with a story to tell about how they got engaged can now enter a competition held by Platinum Guild International and Allure magazine to win a set of platinum wedding rings.
 
Four winners will be chosen by the magazine's readers to win a set of rings from Novell, the platinum jewelry-maker.
 
The contest, which is to run until January 7th, 2009, will also give 200 lucky runners-up the chance to win a platinum engagement survival kit, packed with beauty and fashion items.
 
Winner of the last competition was Sean Palmgren, who arranged for his family to spell out "will you marry me" on umbrellas as he took girlfriend Betsey Krause on a picnic.
 
Sean and Betsey, from Minneapolis, Minnesota, will soon be tying the knot in platinum style with their wedding bands from Novell.
