Having dipped its toes into the jewelry market water before, British fashion house Burbery is set to dive in with a full range of jewelry.
A spokesperson told Elle magazine that Burberry is to expand the range of accessories - which no longer includes the infamous checked cap - that accompanies its core line of luxury clothing, to include jewelry for the first time.
"Burberry has done pieces of jewellery in past seasons, but is [now] developing a proper jewellery collection," the spokesperson said.
The range is likely to be available in the spring, and will retain Burberry's signature motifs of chains, studs and Celtic emblems.
Pieces included in the range will be necklaces, earrings, bracelets, bangles and cuffs, and a strong hexagonal shape will be prominent across the new Burberry collection.
Prices for items in the range will start at around $200 and go up to around $1,600.
