The opening of a new Tiffany and Co store in Red Bank, New Jersey will be the kiss of life for local businesses, it has been claimed.
Local entrepreneurs have welcomed the new store, which will provide a new outlet for the Fifth Avenue designer's stunning jewelry including some gorgeous platinum pieces, reports Asbury Park Press.
Anthony Landau, the husband of the owner of CoCo Paro, a local fashion and jewelry retailer, told the news provider: "Tiffany's is the ultimate validation for all this hard work that was put into a town by so many people who love it so much."
"They are the quintessential luxury brand in the world. They do not pick a town unless they know it is going to further that image."
Store manager in Red Bank, Vicky Shortland said that the local community had been "very welcoming", with visitors dropping by to take a look at the new store.
Owner of AH Fisher Diamonds in Red Bank, Alan Fisher commented that the new store would act to further elevate the profile of the town and draw in more luxury retailers.
